Non-refundable deposit
Our trail riding holidays have limited space. To secure your holiday we ask you to pay a £200.00 deposit per person (including non-riders).
We regret that deposits are strictly non-returnable and for this reason we strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance.
Balance due 60 days out
The balance of your payment is due 60 days prior to your departure date.
For bookings within the 60 days of departure the full cost of your holiday must be paid on receiving your confirmation of booking.
Failure to pay by a due date may lead to a cancellation of your booking.
Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your holiday we will offer alternative arrangements, if these are not acceptable to you we will refund all your monies but will not be responsible for any other losses incurred.
Travel Insurance
As a condition of booking all clients must have travel insurance for the full duration of the holiday. This insurance should cover them for personal injury, medical expenses, death and repatriation.
We also strongly advise that you extend this insurance to cover holiday cancellation, personal effects and currency.
You should be certain to tell your insurance company that the holiday involves equestrian activities.
You will be required to sign an indemnity form before commencing your
riding holiday.
Changes to Itinerary
The itineraries published on this web site are sample itineraries and may be modified or altered for various reasons.
Bad weather conditions, damage to mountain trails, closure of routes and the fitness of the horses may all affect the safety of the ride. In such circumstances you agree to accept any changes required by the person(s) in charge of the ride.
Special Diet or Facilities
If you have any special requests or dietary requirements please inform us at the time of placing your booking, as it may not be possible to accommodate these requirements without prior notice.
If you have any medical problems or disabilities which may affect your booking arrangements, you must advise us at the time of booking giving full details.
Should we feel unable to accommodate your needs we reserve the right to decline your booking.
You're Responsibilities/Conduct & Riding Safety
Horse riding is classified as a high risk sport.
While riding or in the vicinity of horses, you must conduct yourself in a safe manner at all times and comply with the instructions of any person in charge of the yard, or ride.
It is a condition of your booking that you accept that the person in charge is entitled to require you to dismount, or refuse to let you ride, if for any reason, including your inability, behaviour or health, they consider that you may endanger the safety and or welfare of yourself, the horses or any other person.
We reserve the right to cancel the trail ride of any rider who at any time appears to constitute a risk to her/himself, other riders or horses. Any expenses incurred shall be the responsibility of that rider and no refund will be given.
We accept no responsibility for rider's personal effects.
Horse riding and horse handling is potentially dangerous. Although the horses offered to clients are tried & tested for behaviour and reliability, you ride on the clear understanding that they are flesh and blood and that no horse is ever completely predictable or reliable.
YOU RIDE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK and will
be required to sign a form stating the same before commencing your trail
rides.
